The Jewish Roots of Christianity come to life inThe One New Man Bible. Hebrew is a very expressive language, so this translation brings out much of the power that has commonly been omitted from traditional English translations.

I was looking at purchasing the ebook or kindle version. I downloaded the free sample. My question…does the ebook version have your notes included? I didn’t see them in the sample, only actual scripture, no notes or footnotes. Thank you!
Doctor,
I have contacted the publisher–thanks for the contact info.
I have just discovered information that declares that the Semitic Hebrews are not who we have thought they were. What has been your study and focus upon this information?
Was this taken into consideration in the ONM Bible?
I took your good advice and reread the old testament scriptures regarding King David and King Saul. I’m taking you up on your offer to answer more questions….
How did you reconcile the old testament scriptures with Act 13:21, 22 where it states Saul was given for 40 years? Did you research from other sources that helped you understand this apparent discrepancy? I find this issue important and I want to understand more accurately….
thank you very much for guidance on this topic,

Welcome back! The Hebrew text is clear that Saul reigned for two years, 1 Samuel 13:1. The timing of the Ark of the Covenant supports the two year reign. The Ark was captured by the Philistines, 1 Sam. 6:1-16, for seven months, then it was in the house of Abinidab for twenty years, 1 Sam. 7:1 & 2. That twenty years included all of Samuel’s judgeship, Saul’s reign, and seven and half years when David reigned in Hebron, 2 Sam. 5:5. It is impossible for Saul to have reigned for forty years. Samuel reigned long enough for his sons to be grown and to be assigned priestly duties, for which they had to be at least thirty years old. 1 Sam. 8:1 says Samuel was old. How did forty years get in the Book of Acts? Since we do not have any first century New Testament texts, we cannot know for sure.
The publisher will have to tell you that, so I have emailed him. I do not sell the bibles or other books, although occasionally we carry some when we go out in ministry.

After seeing you 4 months ago on Its supernatural, I have been curious and am keeping an open mind that this bible could possibly help me to better understand the Word of God and how to apply it to my life and to help teach it to those around me as well.

Hi Ali,
Biblical Hebrews are Semitic. If they are not that what are they? Who says so? My research has been in scripture, which is clear.
