God of Relationship. This God we serve desires real relationship with each one of His children. This is a relationship that stretches our imaginations to reach the levels to which He is calling each one of us. Rather than just talk about it, read the following verses:
Is. 9:5. For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government is upon His shoulder, and His name will be called Wonder, Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. 6. Of the increase of His government and Shalom there will be no end, upon the throne of David and upon His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with acts of loving kindness from now even forevermore. (John 12:34) The zeal of the LORD* of Hosts will perform this.
Isaiah 9:5 establishes the Son as both Mighty God and Eternal Father, boldly stating the deity of Y’shua from a time long before His birth.
Is. 63:16. Doubtless You are our Father, although Abraham was ignorant of us, and Israel does not acknowledge us. You, the LORD*, are our Father, our Redeemer. Your name is from everlasting.
The LORD* is our Father, the most loving father of all time.
Is. 64:7. But now, LORD*, You are our Father.
Mal. 2: 10. Have not all of us one Father?!
All the above verses reinforce His being our Father, our Heavenly Father.
*Jer. 3: 4. Will you not from this time cry to Me, My Father!
*Jer. 3: 19. But I AM said, How will I put you among the children and give you a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? And I said, You will call Me, My Father,
*Ps. 89: 27. He will cry to Me, You are my Father, my God and the Rock of my Deliverance.
His desire is for each of us to call Him Father!
