“Every Word of an English Bible is God’s Word” is a Myth because English was not even a language when the Bible was written.
The Biblical languages were not even used for the first English translations; Latin was the language used. Some Latin words are still in many English Bibles, like Gentile, the Latin word for heathen. Ark is the Latin word that translated the Hebrew for Tevah, meaning box and for Aron, meaning chest.
The One New Man Bible Companion, at 242 pages, with more than two-hundred indexed subjects including: the nature of God, covenant, the Hebrew and Greek languages, religious myths, biblical word meanings, teachings, Jewish roots, the Patriarchs, biblical weights and measures, Hebrew months, map of the united kingdom in the days of David and Solomon is the perfect partner to getting the most out of your One New Man Bible!
The Mathew-Tyndale Bible, which predates the King James Version, was translated from the Hebrew Leningrad Codex (for the Old Testament) and the Greek Textus Receptus (for the new testament). It was only the Coverdale Bible, which was the first complete bible ever translated into the English Language, that was translated from Luther’s German Bible and the Latin Vulgate. The King James was also translated from the greek and hebrew texts.
Shalom David,
The KJV was edited from those tehose, not translate from them. That is why so many Latin words are used in the KJV.
Blessings, Bill
