1 Thessalonians 4:15. Indeed we say this to you in a word of the Lord that we, those left behind who are living to the coming of the Lord, would not precede those who are sleeping: 16. because the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a command, with a voice of an archangel and with a shofar of God, and the dead in Messiah will rise first (Rev. 20:4), 17. then we, the living, those who are left behind, will be taken away together with them into the clouds to meet with the Lord in the air (Rev. 20:5): and thus we will always be with the Lord. 18. So you must continually comfort one another with these words.
